CHAPTER 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. Description

Fine loose powder from light gray to yellow (depending on the filler) with a slight pleasant specific smell.

2. Composition

1 g of the drug contains the active substance:

Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients:

alpha cypermethrin – 0.6 mg;

deltamethrin – 0.1 mg;

diethyltoluamide – 0.1 mg;

colloidal sulfur – 50.0 mg.

Auxiliary substance: inert filler (dolomite flour to the required volume – 949.2 mg).

3. Medicinal form of veterinary medicine:

Powder for external use.

4. The form of packaging of the veterinary drug:

– bags of polymer materials of 200, 500 g and 1, 2, 5 kg.

– bags of polymer materials of 10, 20 or 40 kg;

5. Labeling and labeling of the drug

For each unit of packaging and transport containers, a label is pasted or the same designations are printed on the surface of the container.

6. Storage and transportation:

8. Brief description of the drug:

ATCvet QP53, ectoparasiticides, insecticides and repellents (QP53AC30, pyrethroid combinations)

Insecticide plus, which includes synthetic pyrethroids alpha-cypermethrin, deltamethrin, diethyltoluamide and colloidal is a contact insecticide that affects the peripheral nervous system of insects and mites at all phases of their development (larva, imago).

The drug Insecticide plus effectively acts against ectoparasites of animals and poultry, namely:

down-eaters (family Menoponidae), feather-eaters (family Philopteridae), hair-eaters (family Trichodectidae);

Bloodsucking insects: lice (families Nematopinidae, Holopeuridae, Linognathidae); bloodsuckers (family Hyppoboscidae); flies (family Muscidae), fleas (a number of Siphonaptera); bedbugs, cockroaches;

Parasitoform mites (families Argasidae, Dermanyssidae, Ixodidae);

larvae of subcutaneous gadfly of cattle (Hipoderma bovis, H. lineatum) and sheep gadfly (Oestrus ovis);

larvae and mature phases of blue-green and gray meat flies (families Calliphoridae, Sarcophagidae) and black-bodied beetles (Alphitobius diaperinus).

Insecticide plus is non-toxic (harmless) for warm-blooded animals and poultry. Belongs to the IV class of toxicity – absolutely harmless substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76 (when orally administered to the stomach LD50 for white mice > 1731.57 mg / kg). Toxic to fish and bees.

CHAPTER 2. PROCEDURE FOR THE USE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE

9. Procedures before using the drug:

Before use, you should carefully read the Instructions (instructions) for the use (use) of the veterinary drug.

Insecticide plus (powder for external use) is allowed for use only in veterinary medicine! A certified veterinary medicine specialist has the right to prescribe and apply it.

10. Procedures for the use of veterinary medicine:

Prevention and treatment of cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, poultry (chickens, geese, ducks) with ectoparasites:

flying bloodsucking insects (horseflies, mosquitoes, midges and other types of midges), fleas, flies;

agrasov, gamazoid and ixodic mites, as well as pathogens of other ectoparasitoses sensitive to the drug Insecticide plus.

Disinsection and deacarization of livestock premises, poultry houses, cages, cages and other places of keeping pets.

11. Method of application, dosage and dosage regimen:

For therapeutic purposes, the drug is used mainly by the method of individual powdering of animals at the rate of 100-200 g / head for large animals and 20-50 g / head for small animals. The drug is applied in a thin layer on the back from the head to the root of the tail, on the breastbone and the inner parts of the limbs near the trunk. The drug is applied with a brush or easily rubbed into the skin against the wool.

Repeated treatment of animals is carried out after 7-14 days.

For preventive purposes, the drug is applied in a dose that is 1.5-2 times less than the therapeutic one. To obtain a persistent repellent effect, the treatment of animals is carried out every 3-4 days during the entire period of the threat of ectoparasitosis or an attack of midges.

Processing of poultry houses in the presence of poultry is carried out using an aerosol cold mist generator (type PORT-423-P) with a special nozzle or other models of powder sprayers. With single-tier placement of cells, the drug is used at the rate of 10 g / m2 of the room and additionally increased by 10% for each additional tier.

With individual treatment of chickens, the drug in a dose of 5-7 g per head is applied around the places of feather loss, near the cloaca, as well as under the wings.

When processing rooms populated with ixodic and argassic mites, the powder consumption rate is 3-5 g per 1 sq. m. For processing adjacent to the premises, pastures and biotopes argazid and ixodid, the consumption rate is doubled – 3-6 g per 1 sq. m.

For preventive purposes, in places protected from precipitation, they equip places for “bathing” birds, which are filled with a mixture: dry sand (or chalk) – 4 kg, vegetable ash – 1 kg and Insecticide plus – 100 g.

12. Indications for the forced use of a veterinary drug:

The drug is prescribed for the treatment of cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, poultry (chickens, geese, ducks) with ectoparasites:

flying bloodsucking insects (horseflies, mosquitoes, midges and other types of midges), fleas, flies;

14. The reaction of animals, including the reaction at the site of administration of the veterinary drug and the general temperature and clinical reactions of the animal, as well as their intensity and duration:

When using the drug in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications are not observed in animals. In some cases, allergic phenomena (skin rash, itching and swelling) are possible. When they occur, the use of the drug is discontinued and desensitizing therapy is prescribed.

15. Measures to prevent possible complications resulting from the use of a veterinary drug (including the cause of complications, their type, intensity and duration):

The personnel working with the drug must adhere to the basic rules of hygiene and safety adopted when working with veterinary drugs.

Do not allow the drug to come into contact with the skin of the hands. The treatment of animals should be carried out in well-ventilated areas. When processing animals, it is necessary to use respiratory protection, skin and mucous membranes, eyes (bathrobe, cap, rubber gloves, rubber shoes, hermetic goggles, respirators, etc.).

After finishing work, wash your face and hands with soap and water. If the insecticide accidentally gets on the skin, it must be removed with a cotton swab and thoroughly washed the affected area with soap and water, and if the drug gets into the eyes, it is necessary to immediately rinse them with plenty of running water.

16. The use of raw materials and products from animals on which the veterinary drug was used (indicating the type of raw materials and products and the period of their use after the application of the veterinary drug):

The slaughter of animals for meat and the consumption of milk for human food is allowed 7 days after the last use of the drug. In the case of slaughter before the deadline, the meat is used for feeding carnivorous animals or for making meat and bone meal.

There are no restrictions on the use of milk and eggs.

About accounting for the reaction to a veterinary drug, procedures for determining the causes of complications in animals after the use of a veterinary drug, or its inefficiency and the procedure for filing complaints about a veterinary drug:

In case of complications after the use of the drug, its use is discontinued, and the consumer applies to the State Veterinary Institution on the territory of which he is located.
