1. General information
1. Trade name of the drug: Solution of iodine alcohol 5% (Solutio Iodi spirituosa 5%).
International Nonproprietary Name: iodine
2. Dosage form: solution for external use
A solution of iodine alcohol 5% contains 5 g of iodine in 100 ml as an active ingredient and 2 g of potassium iodide, 50 ml of ethyl rectified alcohol and distilled water to 100 ml as auxiliary substances.
3. Issue an iodine solution of 5% alcohol by 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 ml in orange glass bottles with a screw neck, sealed with polyethylene plugs and covered with plastic screw caps. Each package is supplied with instructions for use.
4. Iodine alcohol solution of 5% is stored in the packaging of the manufacturer, separate from food and feed, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight at a temperature of 0 ° C to 25 ° C. The shelf life of the medicinal product under the storage conditions is 3 years from the date of manufacture.
