BIOSOL

INSTRUCTIONS

of using Biosol for wound treatment 

and treatment of skin diseases in animals

I GENERAL INFORMATION 

1. Biozol is a drug in the form of a solution for external use in aerosol packaging, used as an antiseptic for animals.

2. Biosol contains in 100 g as active ingredient chlorhexidine bigluconate – 0.3 g, brilliant green – 0.06 g, and as auxiliary components – glycerin, ethyl alcohol and chladone filler 22.

3. Biosol in appearance is a transparent liquid from light green to green.

4. Prepare Biozol prepacked 100 g in aerosol cans or 30, 50 and 100 g in non-propellant bottles with spray heads and protective caps.

II PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES 

5. Chlorhexidine bigluconate and brilliant green in the composition of Biosol have an antiseptic effect. Chlorhexidine bigluconate has a rapidly developing bactericidal effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, dermatophytes and lipophilic viruses. The mechanism of its action is the binding of cations formed as a result of the dissociation of chlorhexidine salts, the walls of bacterial cells, the violation of osmotic balance and the membrane function of the cells, which leads to a decrease in the level of cellular ATP and death of the microorganism. It shows antibacterial activity in the presence of blood and pus.

6. By the degree of exposure to the body Biosol according to GOST 12.1.007-76 refers to “low-hazard substances” (hazard class 4), in recommended doses and concentrations does not have skin irritant and resorptive-toxic effects.

III. APPLICATION PROCEDURE 

7. Biosol is used externally for antiseptic treatment of the skin during castration of animals, treatment of umbilical stump, surgical field and hands of the surgeon, treatment of hoof rot in sheep, as part of complex therapy of purulent wounds and burns.

8. Biosol is applied externally, spraying for 1-2 seconds from a distance of 15-20 cm to the affected surface, 2-3 times a day for 5-10 days, applying it evenly thin layer.

9. Biosol when applied in accordance with this instruction does not cause side effects and complications in animals.

10. The use of Biosol does not exclude the use of other medicines for etiotropic and pathogenetic therapy.

11. Contraindications to the use of Biosol has not been established.

12. Livestock products during and after Biosol application are allowed to be used without restrictions. In the case of forced slaughter of an animal, the carcasses treated with Biosol are cleaned and disposed of.

IV. MEASURES OF PERSONAL PROPHYLAXIS.

14. Empty bottles or bottles from Biosol are not allowed for household purposes.

15. Biosol should be stored in places that are not accessible to children.
