the use of the drug Madrasatul-And
for the treatment and prevention of endometritis in cows

I. General information
1. Trade name of the medicinal product: Madrasatul-A.
International nonproprietary name: tylosin tartrate, neomycin, carbacholine, β-carotene.
2. Dosage form: topical solution. The drug in its composition as active substances contains in 1 ml: tylosin tartrate-5 mg, neomycin-10 mg (in the form of neomycin sulfate), carbacholine – 0.03 mg, β-carotene – 0.8 mg, and as excipients 1.2-propylene glycol 360 mg, distilled water – up to 1 ml.
Madrasatul-A is a solution of orange color with a weak specific smell. The drug is produced packaged in 1 liter cans of polymer material with screw caps and control of the first opening and syringes Jean, equipped with a polystyrene pipette for intrauterine administration.
3. II. Pharmacological properties

Included in the drug tylosin tartrate has an antimicrobial effect against gram-positive (cocci, carinobacteria, Clostridium, erizipelotriksov) and some gram-negative microorganisms (Pasteurella, Hemophilus, Brucella), vibrions, leptospir, neyserium, Rickettsia, spirochetes, Mycoplasma, large basophilic viruses psittakosis group.
Carbacholine enhances the contractility of the uterine myometrium, which contributes to better evacuation of the afterbirth and exudate in endometritis, rapid recovery of its original size after calving.
An aqueous solution of beta-carotene promotes rapid regeneration of the uterine mucosa.
The components included in the preparation are poorly absorbed by the uterine mucosa, which prevents their accumulation in animal products. The drug is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals (hazard class 4), in the recommended doses does not have a locally irritating and sensitizing effect.
III. The order of application
